Delete your account

You can delete your Aquarius account and its data yourself, at any time, in the app or in a web browser.

In the game

Open the Aquarius app, or go to https://playaquarius.com in any browser, and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm. Registered accounts confirm with their password; accounts that sign in with Google, Apple or Discord type their username instead.

The account is deleted immediately. This can't be undone.

Can't sign in?

Write to (contact email not published yet) with your username and ask for the account to be deleted. We may ask for details that show the account is yours, and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account, username, email address, password hash, linked Google, Apple or Discord sign-ins, progress, coins, diamonds, aquariums, fish, items, bio, comments, likes, follows, visits, notifications, blocks, reports about you and sign-in sessions. Open trade offers are closed and their items returned to the sender, and trade messages you sent are removed.

What is kept

Reports you made, without your name, so they can still be reviewed. They are deleted 180 days after they are handled.
Purchase and sales records (account id, item and amount only), as long as accounting rules require.
Totals such as daily player counts, which don't identify you.
